PSP Village – deaf and Hard of Hearing program – Primary School

PRIMARY SCHOOL 

Come and connect with other 6-11 yr. old’s that are deaf or hard of hearing for some Lego based games and creativity on Friday afternoon .(We would love to see you attend our family day also!)
Goals

  • Deaf identity – connecting with others who are deaf or hard of hearing in a fun and supportive environment
  • Meeting new friends – practicing greeting, listening to others, and co-operatively working as part of a group
  • Self-advocacy – learning to identify challenges in communication in different environments and specific strategies to begin to manage these more independently
  • Device management – an opportunity to explore how to explain your hearing loss and devices to others and independently manage your device needs both indoors and out.

When:
Friday 9th July for 2.0 hours

Where:16 Davey Street Frankston – entry is via Bay Lane

1.30pm to 3.30pm – Primary aged children

Cost: $180.00 including all handouts and materials (for 2 hours of therapy)
