Peninsula Speech Plus is able to support overseas practitioners to further their careers in Australia. To be eligible to work as an Allied Health Professional in Australia you need to be registered with AHPRA (Occupational Therapy) or SPA (Speech Pathologists).

We are located on the Mornington Peninsula, in four locations: Mornington, Frankston, Frankston Parc, Dromana and Wonthaggi (Bass Coast)
Our practice provides services to children and adults in the clinic, school/kinder, nursing home and home settings. We provide both individual and group-based interventions.
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist who is self-motivated, shows initiative and is capable of working within a team-based approach.
The successful applicant will provide speech pathology assessment and intervention to the range of paediatric speech, language and communication issues. An Adult caseload can be incorporated.
They will join the amazing team of 20 Speech Pathologist, 10 Occupational Therapists, Teacher of the Deaf, and the Customer Service Team.

Are you creative, innovative, and ready to embark on an exciting career opportunity? Have you ever had a great idea for service provision, but not had the right platform to launch it from? Join Peninsula Speech Plus, a private clinic based on the Mornington Peninsula.
Peninsula Speech has previously been a speech therapy only practice, however over the past 12 months we have been slowly integrating occupational therapy services also. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced occupational therapists to join our occupational therapy stream to help us build an innovative, professional and sought-after service to our local community. We would love you to come armed with your creative and innovative ideas to help develop a unique service in our local community.
We work out of two locations, Mornington and Frankston, providing services to children and adults in the rooms, school/kinder, nursing home and home settings. We provide both individual and group-based interventions.
Our Team is made up of 16 speech pathologists, 3 occupational therapists, allied health assistants and administrative staff. We have close working relationships with other private practices in our area. This cooperative and multidisciplinary environment provides varied professional experiences. You will be working in a highly supportive environment with a fabulous team of professionals.
We are looking for an experienced clinician who is self-motivated, shows initiative and is capable of working independently within a team-based approach.
You will provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to a paediatric caseload within a private practice setting. Your work will be a mixture of visit based and in clinic services. Opportunities to work with adult clients are also available if desired. Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years’ experience. Experience with disability is advantageous however applications will be considered based on your past work experience.
Mentoring and clinical support will be provided by both occupational therapists and speech pathologists both individually and in a group setting. Our competent administration team and streamlined processes ensure that clinicians are supported in order to provide clients with the best level of service and care.
Allied Health Assistants
Therapy assistants support a person with their daily care and/or activity programs. They work under the direction of a qualified and registered therapist, following the agreed goals and implementation plan.
At Peninsula Speech Plus our Therapy Assistants are either Students training to be Speech Pathologists or Occupational Therapists or have completed a Certificate IV Allied Therapy Assistant. We have decided to employ Therapy Assistants within the Peninsula Speech team. A team approach facilitates communication and ensures that our intervention is focused on your goals
